F.C. Dong-Naewon at Mad-Sanae cup soccer game which is under the patronage of ‘dignity’ aboard of representatives’ on April. 24.

Mad-Sanae is a soccer competition of Jeju-NU that includes registered Jeju-NU students, graduates, teaching staff and students in leave of absence.

F.C. Dong-Nae and PE-A team met at the final. The extra time ended in a draw. So they went for shootout. In the penalty kicks, F.C. Dong-Nae beat PE-A team by 5 to 4. F.C. Dong-Nae is composed of friends who have played soccer together since same jeju elementary, middle and high school.

The captain of the team, Lee Jong-Yeol (Mathematics Education, 3) spoke that “Our team name ‘F.C. Dong-Nae’ has an aura unprofessionally. It feels like that we went for Mad-Sanae just for fun. Rival teams might underestimate our team. That is the reason why I chose this name.”

The caption confidently said, “We had three penalty shoot-outs in the Mad-Sanae cup. But my team did not worry about the game because my team knows that our goal keeper is good at shoot-out.”

He states their motives for victory are that a good team atmosphere and staying tuneto their moto- there might be failed but not defeated. The leader said,“Most men who love soccer of Jeju-NU dreams of winning inthe Mad-Sanae. F.C. Dong-Nae also has the same dream. I am glad we achieved this without any injuries.”

Jong-Yeol wound it up by saying,“next year, we will participate in Mad-Sanae with lighthearted mind. We will enjoy the game with a new team name of FC Village which I did not tell to my team members.”
