Jeju-NU
Nowadays, many wild animals face danger due to pollution, the introducing of species from other countries and hunting equipment like traps and snares. Therefore the center was created for the purpose of helping animals in need.
The rescue center currently rescues various types of wildlife, such as deer, hawks and woodpeckers. Not only do the workers save the animals from accidents or illnesses, they also perform rehabilitation training to return the animals back to their environment.

According to the center’s volunteer So Sang-Jae, “In the Jeju-NU Wildlife Rescue Center, visitors are able to appreciate exotic Jeju animals and get a chance to nurse them back to health.”
