John Muir, the prevalent Scottish-American naturalist used to say, “In every walk with Nature one receives far more than he seeks.”

Hikers and explorers know this very well and nothing can be more exciting for them than hiking through remote villages, forests and beautiful coastlines. The catchphrase for this year’s annual Olle Walking Festival is, “Let’s have fun on the trail.”

Starting from Gimnyeoung Sungsegi Beach to Haenyeo Museum on the first day and from Hanyeo Museum to Jongdal Badang on the second day, the annual hike is supposed to cover around 26 km through the beautiful south-east coast of the Jeju Island.

With the hosting of KOREAT, the popular food festival taking place simultaneously at Hanyeo Museum, the walking festival will become an attraction to food lovers too. Samples and authentic menu items made with local Jeju products from top 50 restaurants will also be available during the two-day festival at Hanyeo Museum.

A shuttle bus service from the end point to the Hanyeo museum will be provided. Nature friendly trekking gear will is advised for the hike. More information is available at: http://www.jejuolle.org
