The Jeju-NU cafeterias serve a lot of students every day, offering meals at a reasonable price. However there are some complaints from students on how the two cafeterias are administered.

“The trays and eating utensils are not clean and I experienced that they give more amount of food to Koreans. It is not fair since we pay the same amount of money,” said Princess Jolia Bless Ciriaco (Food and Nutrition, 3).

According to Kang Hyun-Ho (Electrical Engineering, 3), “I am satisfied with the way they administer the student’s cafeteria. The food is cheap and it tastes good.”

“The cafeteria’s administration is satisfactory because they maintain cleanliness, but it would be great if they served more kinds of food,” said Kim Hee-Jin (German Language and Literature, 4).

“Some foreigners are not used to eating Korean foods because the foods are either too spicy or too fatty, so I suggest that they make new kinds of food options,” said Giang Son Nguyen (Molecular Biotechnology, PhD 3).

Moreover, Romnea Mao (Applied Biotechnology, 1) commented that, “Nowadays, I do not experience any problems but I suggest that they add new foods to the menu. Because, based on my experience for the past three semesters, I have noticed that the menu seem to be cycle as the same menu is served over and over again.”
