From November 16 to 23, there are dispute about the election in College of Social Science. In this college, two campaigns were competing for the election as a student leader. They were each called ‘Uhwoollim’ and ‘Myungdaesa’. In the first ballot count, ‘Uhwoollim’ won the election with slight gap. So, the victory of ‘Uhwoollim’ campaign was clearly decided.

However, the campaign of ‘Myungdaesa’ raised objections to this result with undervote papers through ‘Facebook’. This was not the official procedure, but Jeju-NU Aboard of Representatives autonomously accepted this objection without any discussion. The recount was implemented in Aboard of Representatives with two campaigns on November 20. In this strange procedure, the result of this recount was ‘draw’ between of them.

In this scene, two campaigns raised objections of that situation again at November 23. However, the election commission realized a situation at that time. For this, there were strong reactions in whole College of Social Science students. In particular, the dispute was mainly about the legitimacy on intervention of Jeju-NU Aboard of Representatives. In addition, the election commission was embarrassed about that they did not know anything about this issue until they heard the news from newspaper.

Finally, Aboard of Representatives apologized about their mistakes and also announced the withdrawal of their accepting. So, the objections from ‘Myungdaesa’ campaign were canceled and Uhwoollim’s victory was clearly decided.
