The biggest art festival in Jeju, 2020 Jeju Art Festival (JAF) , is being held at the Jeju Museum of Art (JMOA) from the 24th of November 2020 to the 24th of January 2021.

This festival is on the 25th exhibition since the first collaboration of the committee of JAF and JMOA. The theme of the project is . Dongin means colleagues who have the same vision and approach for art. In former days, the island had a poor background in improving the art industry. Under these unfavorable conditions, Dong-in in Jeju tried to gain a firm foothold in the art scene. Therefore, their history could be Jeju’s art history as well. The festival grasps the point of the history of artists. This festival will provide an opportunity for the audience to ponder about community sense in art. Also, it aims for the occasion where local artists can cooperate with themselves.

Meanwhile, another special exhibition is taking place at the Folklore & Natural History Museum in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. It started from September 2020, when the museum resumed its operation. This project shows medical books, medical instruments, and medicinal materials used by the ancestors in Jeju. It aims to give the spirit that we can overcome the COVID-19 crisis to the visitors.
