Q What are the good things about Jeju-NU and what do you think the university needs to improve?

Hello, my name is Su Do Han. and I'm a sophomore at Jeju University.After entering the university, I joined a volunteer club and consistently took part in various volunteer activities. In these activities, we learned how to communicate with and respect other people. We could also make friends and gain self-esteem through them. But I think the financial support and programs for the volunteering activities were not enough. These volunteer activities will be valuable experiences along with my school life.
I hope the support and programs for the volunteering activities will be improved and that a good relationship will be developed between the school and the volunteer clubs, including both social and other types of clubs.

I am surprised that my college is already 59 years old.I have been at this university for 3 years, and I have seen it continually developing. I am so proud of our university because there are very good professors and many other good points. I am sorry that most of the students don't know these facts. But I'm proud that I can study at this university.

I don't think we, who study at Sara Campus, are treated unfairly by University Administration. We get almost the same benefits from school as JNU students. However, when I go to the Sara Campus I usually bring lunch from home because lunch is expensive in the student cafeteria at Sara Campus. While we can get a good lunch for 1700 won at Ara Campus, we have to pay 3500 won at Sara.

I think a good thing at Jeju-NU is the low price in stores. Compared to other stores, Halla Hall and Ara Hall are cheaper. For university students who don't have much money, the low prices help us manage our budgets. But the thing I want to say is that the school should extend Wi-Fi Zone because there are so many smart phone users at the university.

I think our university has lots of internship program and other good programs. But because of the large number of students, professor cannot keep a close watch to their students. I think professors should give more personal attention to their students.

I think the low schooling expenses is a good thing about my university, but I think the university should make more place to relax like Halla and Ara Hall. Considering the number of students in university, Halla Hall and Ara Hall by themselves are insufficient.
