'Jeju-NU Olle path' is a trail starting behind the second building of the College of Natural Science to the stadium to the first building of College of Liberal Arts to the Central Library to the College of Medicine to the College of Engineering to the College of Natural Science laboratory to the Jeju-NU main gate. After taking a walk around the Olle, you can see all around the campus. It takes one to two hours to take a walk around the Olle.

Section Chief Lee Young-Ha (Department of Facilities Maintenance) said, "We made the Olle path for welfare of school members in Dec. 2010."

▲ Olle path makes you feel fresh in the campus.
If you can't walk the whole Olle-Road, just stroll part of it.

First, you can walk up the stadium stairs and follow the trail in front of the College of Liberal Arts. The woods are on either side of the stadium stairs and if you turn around during walking up stairs, you can see the green sports field and blue sea between the tall trees. The trail in front of the College of Liberal Arts harmonizes with the trees lining the road, the curved sidewalk and the Liberal Arts building. It’s so beautiful.

Second on the Olle path is the College of Arts and Design to the College of Medicine: This part has the highest view in Jeju-NU. So you can see Jeju City on the hill and the open Jeju Sea when you stop to relex. Also there is a good view because of a wind generator built under the hill. But there are no chairs on that side of the trail. Some students said, "It would be a better place, if there are chairs to relax."

Third, the Olle trails continue to the building of the College of Engineering to the first building of the College of Engineering: While you walk down from the hill, if you turn around, you can also see a wind generator operating in the blue sky. And there are trees and benches along the College of Engineering’s sidewalk. So there is a good place to relax.

The Olle path is a good place to walk and was made two years ago. But Students don't know about the Olle path well. Park Kyung-Hype (Business Administration, 3) said, "I have walked the same trail for exercise but I didn't know the road is the Jeju-NU Olle path. I think the university should tell students about the Olle path." In this context, Section Chief Lee (Department of Facilities Maintenance) replied, "We admit our indifference about taking care of the Olle path because of our budget and lack of workers. We will look after the Jeju-NU Olle path for members within the university."
