Grassland around the Hallasan


Many herds of horses are seen in grasslands around Hallasan. Horses there are very meek so that normal people can approach them and stroke their head. They really like to eat grasses from your hand.The place is perfect for a peaceful picture.

 


Orange color of mandarin field


Jeju Island is famous for its mandarin fields. The color of madarin field in autumn is a marvelous view to us. The orange and yellow color is all over the Jeju, especially Seogwipo. Some indicate the scenery of Ohyundan as the second wonder of Yeong-Ju. However, you can think of the whole mandarin fields as the part of 10 sceneries of Young-Ju.

You can see snow on the top of Hallasan even until early summer. There is also a story that a legendary hermit with miraculous powers drank the water in the snow of the Hallasan. That is why the place was chosen as one of 10 wonders of Jeju, because normal people in the world didn't dare to go near there.

When seeing the sunset of western sky in Sarabong, calmness dominates you. Beyond the sun falling toward the sea, you can sometimes see the quiet view of fishing boats. The best way to enjoy the view is to look around the village′s whole scene around Sarabong.

 


Cave Temple in Sanbangsan


There is a temple with a cave halfway up Sanbangsan. In the temple, you can see the statue of Buddha. Water falls from the ceiling in front of the statue, and people say that it is the tears of the Goddess who guards Sanbangsan.

 


Light of fishing boats


The lights from fishing boats in the night, white herons and seagulls compose the perfect scene of the sea. In the middle of that night view, you can throw a fishing rod into the water, enjoying the perfect atmosphere of the sea!

 


Sunrise of SeongsanIlchulbong


There are about 100 small mountain peaks around the Ilchulbong and it looks like a big castle. That's how it gained the name 'Seongsan'. Even though it is on the hill, you can see the sun rising from sea. It is one of the best scenes of Young-Ju. Also you can enjoy the earliest sun rising in Jeju in here.

 


Flowers of Bangsunmun


According to a story, Bangsunmun is the hill where the legendary hermit lived on. Therefore it is apart from the world. Of course the flowers in Bangsunmun are beautiful, but the more important thing is to enjoy mystique of meeting the hermit.

 


Unique rocks of Youngsil


If you climb Youngsil, you can discover the unique appearance of its stones. Five hundred stone pillars towering over the sky are very magnificent. During spring, flowers and stones together make a beautiful picture. In the summer after raining, you can see a small waterfall.

 


Jeongbang Falls


This fall is connected to sea. People believed a dragon was living there because the place was surrounded by trees, and at the same time it also had a wide-open view of the sea. Therefore the water was a panacea to them.
