To be a time managing expert in life, some buy new planners and stopwatches. But it is important to know that time managing has to start with a fundamental issue, ‘who you are’.

The book, ‘The power of 15 minutes of organizing,’ says that acknowledging the value and goal in life is the first step in time management. If someone puts ‘love’ as a top priority in life, they would use his/her time more with their loved ones than in achieving their career.

The second step is checking your everyday schedules and figure out your life pattern, how much time is used for your unchangeable schedule and your temporary schedules. Also you have to distinguish things you have to and don’t have to.

The last step is ‘using a tool for time managing.’ You can use planners or check lists for your time managing. These days, there are lots of smart phone applications for this, so it would be good to control your time digitally.

Being a time managing expert is not an easy thing. You have to know from the fundamental issue of ‘who you are’ to what is an appropriate tool for time managing. But if you keep these 4 steps, you can really be a time managing expert
