IBM(International Business Machine Corporation) mentoring program took place on June 1 at Jeju-NU with 50 students and 6 IBM global executives. The program started with an introduction of the company and personal / professional backgrounds of its executives. Then, all executives answered two questions: ‘What is leadership?’ and ‘Who do you most recommend to students for their leadership?’ The last minutes were filled with passionate questioning and answering. All conversations went with English with a translator. The mentors were amazed by students‘ incessant responses, thereby providing other opportunities to some students to participate in their next consulting about Jeju globalization.

The IBM global team will stay in Jeju for 3 weeks as a program of ‘Smarter City Challenge Jeju’ which aims to consult Jeju about its globalization.
