Lee Sang Yoon, graduate student with the Department of Chemistry College of Natural Science earned an excellence award in research poster presentation at the 12th Asia Analytical Science Conference held in Fukuoka University on August 22-24.

Lee’s paper dealt with the chemical composition of micro dusts in Jeju atmosphere at Mt. Halla midmountain 1100m Peak. He showed that the atmospheric dust particles originated from China.
