▲Korean and International Students are having workshops.
Operated by the Institute of Basic Education, in order to provide Jeju-NU foreign students more opportunities to learn and to have a wonderful life in Jeju-NU, “Special Learning Shop” started from Oct. 28 and will continue to Nov. 23.

This workshop selected 14 teams, each team has one Korean student and three foreign students. On every Monday, all the teams together participate in a special class and do some special training exercises. Every weekend, each team makes a "cultural trip" to visit the beautiful Jeju Island. The Institute of Basic Education has given every team 200,000 won activity fund to help the students more easily complete cultural tour challenges.

Phoo Pwint Khaing from Myanmar said, "I did not really like to practice Korean speaking before this workshop, but through this workshop I realized speaking Korean can be such an interesting thing; and when I have some difficulties in my major the Korean students are very kind to help me solve the problems." A Korean student Lee Yu-jin (Elementary Science Education, 1) also said, "While each country's students have some different cultural habits, it is so surprising that all the foreign students can speak Korean so fluently in such a short period of time. And I have also been infected by their enthusiasm and will more cherish my life now. "
