The amount of the support forthe international student club given by the office of the International Affair has been reduced.

According to the international student club, the financial support is decreasing compared to last year by about 30 percent. Therefore, the programs they planned to carry out have been downsized or even eliminated because of the budget problem. Sometimes, they asked for a program’s participants to pay participation fees for events like sports day for international students. A representative of the organization, Mr. Park, mentioned, “I know that the Office of the International Affair has supported the programs held by the organization. I feel that the size of the programs carried by our organization has become smaller this year.” The club will find a way to follow its budget plan for next year by holding funding programs such asdonation events, free market, or auction, if the club does not get enough financial assistance from the office of International Affairs.
