Jeju-NU created a smart phone application in 2011. It has been updated 11 times. The main version is Korean; it also provides an English version. Lots of freshmen students use this application when they enter school. However, there are some problems in this application.

Sung Ji-A (Journalism & Public Relations, 2) said, “I downloaded the Jeju-NU application when I was a freshman. However, only one month later, I deleted that from my phone.”

The Korean version and English version both have problems. First, in the Korean version, there are mistakes in four main categories; School Introduction, Academics, Admission Guide and Notification

In the ‘School Introduction’ category, there are problems. University regulations are uploaded as a file difficult to access. The school PR Video does not play when clicked. There is only a JEBS category though Jeju-NU has two other school newspapers. Moreover, the uploaded Campus Tour directions are ambiguous. How visitors could find Jeju-NU is not explained clearly.

As for the second main category, ‘Academics’, the naming error has not been corrected. For example, the College of Law & Political Science is revised as the College of Social Science since 2012. However in the application, the old name is still used.
