The student body election took place as a two-way race between Jin-Jja and Hayoung-Dream. The race was very close, and Jin-Jja won 51.5% of the votes.

“From start to finish, the election was really close,” Go Gwang-Pyo, the winner of president in Jin-Jja, said, "I thought that we need to have policy election. Jin-Jja’s policy book tried to contain as much detail as possible to describe the policy.

"Also, while trying to have a policy election, we tried to reject regionalism, school relations, and kinship," he added.

For the question asking about how to lead the future Jeju National University Student Body, he said "We are going to be the 'REAL' student body. We will listen to students, convey students' opinion to the school administration and it will be moved to action. I ran in the election to pass the voice of the students to the school."
