From May 19 to May 21, the 10th Jeju Forum for Peace and Prosperity was held in Jeju Haevichi Hotel. This forum held 58 sessions with 4,000 people from 61 countries. The forum also held a UNESCO World Heritage Site tour program and an opening ceremony performance by Soprano, Jo Su-Mi.

 Many Jeju-NU students participated in the forum as either observers or staff. Observer Park Hyo-Ju (Political Science & Diplomacy, 2) joined the ‘Global Five-Party Roundtable: The Reality and Solutions of Inter-generational Conflict’ session, a topic she learned about in her political science class.   

“Inter-generational conflict is an issue that deals with not only me but my peers. I wanted to hear what experts from other countries have to say and what solutions they might have to offer.”
