The Broadcasting Contest Festival will be hosted by Jeju-NU Educational Broadcasting System (JEBS) in Ara Muse Hall on October 30, starting at 4 pm.

The theme for this year is “Passion”. The festival programer stated, “Last year, the theme was “Youthhood”. It was about the younger generation. So this year, we would like to widen the scope of the stories to include all generations.”

A total of six potential films out of many great films submitted by middle school, high school and university students are nominated for an award.

She also mentioned, “Actually, the festival would usually take place on Thursdays but this year, we moved it to Friday for the convenience of participants and audiences. We are putting our best efforts to make the festival more exciting and looking forward to seeing lots of people at the festival.”

One of nominees for this year, who has won an award twice before, will be entering again with his new film. It will be interesting to see how he will do this year.
