▲ Jeju-NU President Huh Hyang-Jin successfully bids for College of Pharmacy

On November 24, Jeju-NU along with Chonbuk National University and Dong-A University has adopted a joint agreement for the bidding of a College of Pharmacy.

Through this agreement, the three universities will take joint measures for the establishment of the college by exchanging of information and promotion of national and international seminars and research.

The College of Pharmacy will be an integrated six year course of students taking two years of a pre-pharmaceutical science course and then an addition four years pharmaceutical science.

Representative of three universities stated, “As a high value-added business in a creative economic age, the annual growth of the pharmaceutical industry has risen by 5.3%. Introducing a six year pharmaceutical program will meet the high demand of pharmacists in research and clinical practice.”
