Foreign language lectures will last from September 5 to October 14 at the Language Education Institute of the Office of International Affairs in JNU. A special offer is given when three people apply for one lecture, where one person can take the class for free. As such, student’s active participation is expected. Also, students who have improved their TOEIC scores by more than 100 points while taking it will be given a chance to take one native language course for free. Foreign language classes are divided into native English conversation, Chinese, German, French, Korean English, and Japanese. Lee Ye-won, a student majoring in Japanese Literature took a Japanese language course for a semester and said, “I was satisfied with the Japanese certificate test class, and it also helped with my major class.” In addition, she responded positively that she was willing to take the Japanese-related courses again in the future because she was able to know what her weakest language points were while working with the Japanese language teacher.
