The pink muhly festival is in full swing in Jeju. Tourists are constantly flocking to the site of the “2022 Holiday Village Pink Muhly Festival” held at the Holiday Village Natural Life Park in Sinrye-ri, Namwon- eup, Seogwipo-si. This year’s festival marks its fifth year at the park and was opened on September 15th and will run until November 15th. What is different about the festival this year is that unlike the previous years there is a much larger number of pink muhly that welcomes park visitors. In particular, pink muhly, which is very compatible with the blue autumn sky of Jeju, creates a beautiful and unique landscape. Furthermore, it is popular among tourists as a place to take pictures.

In addition, events such as tangerine picking experience and animal feeding are prepared at the Hueree Pink Muhly Festival to provide visitors with a variety of fun. Since a few years ago, it has been offering free admission to people with disabilities, daycare centers, and nursing homes in Jeju for the sake of giving back to the community. Of course, reservations must be made in advance. One more thing to note is that the additional benefit of a 50 percent discount on admission fees will be given to all children aged between 3 and thereabouts. The pink muhly looks good, but we should remember that it can cause ecosystem disturbance because they are an exotic specie.
