We had the opportunity to hear the following comments from the two president-elects during our interview with them.

Park Joo-young’s first observation was that he was delighted to have won the election, but he also feels burdened more now. He said, “I will fulfill the requirements of the election process, despite the fact that the tenure is only one year long.” Baek Seung-beom was unaware of his election responsibilities at first, but he is now beginning to fully understand the importance of carrying out his duties as a student council member. Regarding their decision to run for office, the two candidates stated that their prior experience as president of a college student council led them to believe that JNU needed to be changed. Also, Park emphasized that among his vows, he would give priority to changing the rules governing the student council. Baek, on the other hand said, "We will give priority to the open recruitment of the student council, which had a lot of demand." Park also added, "I want to make Jeju University a school where students can make rational decisions by listening to the opinions of various members rather than just focusing on the decision-making." Finally, the winners thanked the voters and asked for a lot of support and interest during this student council's term.
