The College of Economics & Commerce student council ‘EUM’ was launched in 2023. Their policy began with the aims promoting relations with the international students. Ahn Min-Su, the student president of "EUM," learned after speaking with foreign students that some terms and activities were challenging to interpret: for example, launching ceremonies, the Seeall (a board of representatives), and the Jeju language.

Instead of hosting an event specifically for international students, he said he would create a team of interpreters to address the fundamental communication needs of those students. To create a platform that provides information about college events and announcements, the team will determine how many foreign students are enrolled at the College of Economics & Commerce. The platform will be developed using Kakaotalk for Chinese students who have trouble using Instagram. They will receive requests or complaints at any time during their time in school. They added that when they distribute the information, they would make announcements through language translation. Each department's support will be used to provide the platform's opening guide.

In addition to the platform, "EUM" will launch a study cafe that will be open to all college students, including those from abroad. They did a survey about the cafe before it opened and they will set up the public computer and printer in light of the survey outcome. Also, the cafe will be run as a place with open seating. The study cafe is expected to be opened in May.

The president announced that in his capacity as a student council president, he would work to reduce the number of students who are unable to enroll in schools because of COVID-19 and to make lasting memories in addition to academic success.
