The 2023 JNU Integrated Sports Festival marks a significant departure from the traditional Arachejeon, as it is the first sports festival to take place after the merger of the College of Education with Jeju National University. As a result, the event has been renamed the Integrated Sports Festival combining the Ara and Sara campuses.

Organized and hosted by the Eoullim Student Council, the festival's preparations are guided by two key principles. First, the council strives to incorporate the opinions and preferences of the student body to the fullest extent. Second, they aim to ensure that all students can participate and find enjoyment in the festival by including diverse and engaging elements.

In the planning and execution of each integrated sports festival, the opinions of the Deans of Colleges were given significant consideration. The goal is to make the festival as inclusive and student-centered as possible, even allowing for some rule adjustments in consultation with the Deans, while still adhering to established regulations.

Typically, sports festivals are perceived as events where students with exceptional athletic abilities excel. While this is true to some extent, the festival organizers are actively working to create an environment where even those who may not excel in sports or lack a strong interest in athletics can participate and have fun. Various booths and mini-games are being prepared to cater to a wide range of interests and abilities.

The 2023 Jeju University Integrated Sports Festival is not just a sporting event; it's an opportunity for all students to come together, and enjoy a variety of activities that go beyond traditional sports.
