GREAT is a business group that supports students who want to branch out and experience opportunities through diverse programs. Because Jeju is not metropolitan area, there are not that many events in which students in Jeju can participate in, compared to the amount offered to students that live in metropolitan areas. Thus, with the goal of promoting regional development and cultivating local talents, GREAT receives support from the Regional Leading University Development Program. They offer a variety of activities and programs to students, including certification exams, job-related experiences, and overseas training.

Regarding certification exams, GREAT has been provide support for basic foreign language certifications, computer proficiency exams, Korean history certifications, and specialized practical certifications. They have also expanded the range of activities to include job-related experiences and overseas training in various fields, thereby broadening the scope of choices for students. Programs such as specialized and globalized institutions internship support are highly competitive.

In addition to these support programs, in 2023, GREAT organizes various competitions to provide students with practical experiences that will be beneficial in their future professional training. For instance, the English presentation competition held on December 1st offers an opportunity to get awards, and all participating students receive bonus points for international internship selection which GREAT is in charge of.

Finally, they also have the ‘Track Scholarship’ in which students receive scholarships upon completing specific criteria. The requirements that students have to complete include one core education course and three general education courses. Detailed information is available on the GREAT website.
