The 2017 Jeju-NU Halloween Party was held at a gym in the dormitory on October 31. The party was intended for residents and foreign students.

The party was organized by the Jeju-NU dormitory residence council called ‘Donggodongrak’. The council prepared this party place to create a Halloween party with dark lights and Halloween items. There were various kinds of booths which included face painting, tarot cards, tattoos, and mystery boxes. One of the most popular events was a costume booth that allowed participants to wear Harry Potter gowns and take a photo.

In addition, the booth, ‘Say, Trick and Treat’, provided participants Halloween candies, chocolates and cookies. People were also able to get a variety of products by playing ‘Rock, Paper, Scissors,’ with the MCs.

If students participated in more than three booths, they could get a stamp on the poster at the entrance. The participants who received a stamp got a variety of prizes, such as Bluetooth earphones, USB memory sticks, and necessary daily items.

About 2017 Jeju-NU Halloween party, both domestic students and foreign students in the Jeju-NU Student Dormitory were pleased and satisfied with this event. “It was nice to see both domestic and foreign students actively participating in the event through this party,” said Kim Na-Kyeong(Korean Language & Literature, 1).
