‘Locance’ is a compound word of ‘local’ and ‘vacance’; its meaning is to experience and to travel Jeju’s farming villages. Through this program participants can go to three farming villages: Hahyo Village, Sinheung2–ri and Uigwi–ri. Also, this program has two courses. One is a one-day course trip and the other is an overnight course trip. The one-day course is available from September to October and the overnight course is from October to November.

Locance’s themes are tangerine, camellia flower, and riding horses. The two types of trip courses have some common features. They both include programs such as eating camellia bibimbap as well as making tangerine dessert and camellia flower soap. The difference is that the overnight course includes more tourism spots.

Locance has four attractions. First is reasonable price. Second is souvenirs - in this program, you can take what you made as a souvenir. Third is harmonious interaction with Jeju residents. In addition, this program’s participant fee is used for residential development. Lastly, this program does not force the participants to purchase something, unlike other trip programs.
