The Jeju Dream Tower complex resort, located at the Nohyeong Five-way Intersection, officially opened on the 18th of December 2020. Dream Tower is the highest and the largest building on Jeju Island. It is also about 1.8 times wider than the 63 Building in Yeouido Seoul, and its height is 169 meters, which is about two times higher than Lotte City Hotel Jeju (89 meters).

Dream Tower is a complex resort, which is a multi-complex facility including accommodation, restaurant, entertainment, etc., and particularly, casino for foreign tourists is the main facility. LT Casino in Lotte Hotel in Jungmun Resort is preparing to be transferred to Dream Tower.

Meanwhile, the exhibition called ‘A Sum-Up about the Inconveniences Caused by the Dream Tower’ was held for two days, the 18th to 19th of December 2020. The slogan was “There’s no room for Dream Tower in Jeju.” Jeju Solidarity for Participatory Self-government & Environmental Preservation, which is a citizen organization that hosted this exhibition, clearly showed the other side of the Dream Tower construction by pointing out several probable issues: trash and sewage disposal problem, parking difficulties, light pollution, gambling addiction, and all sorts of crimes regarding the casino.
