Located near the Language Exchange Institute is a concert hall for different art activities, the Ara Muse Hall. It’s a place not only for the students but also for the citizens of Jeju to fulfill the need for live music. About eight concerts are held each month and most of them are free.

However, the time, concept, and price of the concert are a mystery. Some of the students stated that the reason they don ’t g o to concerts in Ara Muse Hall is that they weren’t sure if they could go. It is because there are barely any advertisements and they have a prejudice of concerts being expensive and hard to attend. “Because I don’t know when the concert is prior, even though I can see they are doing something there at that moment I can’t go because I have other things to do,” one of the students commented.

Ara Muse Hall’s website (https://aramusehall.jejunu.ac.kr) provides monthly plans for all the concerts they will hold. The plans consist of the date, time, concert name, and fee. For instance, in December they will hold 10 concerts. Except for the two concerts held on the 21st and the 28th, they will all be free, and reservations are not needed. The plans are updated months before the actual concert, so you don’t need to check every week for concert plans.
