Jeju-NU students are participating in various internship programs in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and Singapore.

International internship programs were organized to give opportunities for undergraduate students to experience different on-site practices and to develop their competitiveness with a global mind.

Ten participants of '2011 University of Delaware - Disney World Internship' were selected through an interview conducted by a coordinator of the program from the U.S.A. in March. They left Jeju on July 16, and are now taking classes in the University of Delaware, working as Disney World interns with many students from different countries. They're working from Aug. 8 to Jan. 20 of 2012, improving their language skills and international competitiveness.

Supported by Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, 11 participants of '2011 Overseas Internship' left Jeju on July 23. They will complete a 10-week language course and a 20-week internship in Australia. Also, 20 students will take a 3-week language course and work in universities and companies for a week in Singapore. Eight participants of JDC Global Leader Internship Program will leave for Canada on Aug. 29 after they take a 3-week language course in Jeju. In Canada, they will take another language course and participate in an internship program.

Participants were selected by their fluency in spoken English and G.P.A. throughout the semesters.
