Q. What program are you responsible for?

A. I'm teaching English speaking, reading, writing, pop songs, and other different things. Every teacher doesn't teach a specific subject, but teaches all of the subjects.

Q. I think there would be some communication problems when the entire class is spoken in English, aren't there?

A. Sometimes we have, but Korean teachers kindly help us whenever we need and they sometimes give some hints for solution, or translate some important information.

Q. How do you feel about the camp?

A. To be honest, having classes from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. is an arduous task. But it is worth spending our time and energy. Although students were very shy and awkward on the first day, they got confident and active more and more. They are so friendly and nice. I'm happy to be with them.

Korean teacher, Kim Joo-Hyeon (Public Administration, 4)

Q. What do Korean teachers do during the camp?

A. We are responsible for overall program management. We actually do everything. We make some props, wake students up in the morning, bring them to the cafeteria for meals, help their studying, take some pictures, go on a field trip with kids, and contact parents and so on. Although it is physically tiring, I can do all of these tasks pleasantly because of lovely kids.
