On Aug. 21 'Youth Concert' was held in Jeju Students Cultural Center.

Ahn Cheol-Soo, dean of the Graduate School of Convergence Science and Technology in SNU(Seoul National University), held a lecture with Park Kyung-Chul, an economic analyst and surgeon at the Andong New World Clinic. The lecture is about two subjects. One is 'Ahn Cheol-Soo, as a Role Model and his Attitude Towards Values', another is 'Choices and Concerns'.

"Prof. Ahn, you are a successful man, so you don't feel frustration." Park said. Then, Ahn answered in a modest way, "It is impossible to determine the success or failure for ongoing people."

Park also asked Prof. Ahn why he chose to make a computer virus vaccine though he was already a promising scholar in the medical area. Prof. Ahn answered, "I wanted to give back all the things that I received from society. I thought I have responsibility for that. When I was a university school student in SNU, the first computer virus, called 'brain virus', came out but nobody wanted to solve it. I thought I could solve that problem so I challenged to make the vaccine."

Then, Park said, "We can say his value attiude is consciousness of responsibility".

He continued, "There are lots of people criticizing others who don't have attitude toward their own values. But, the critics themselves don't know what is their value." He also asked attendees to have their values of their life and make their goal according to their values.

Another subject for discussion was 'Choices and Concerns'. Park said, "The expression 'I have concern' means 'I don't know what to choose.' We confront lots of choices in our life and all of the choices have good points and bad points. So we have to make decisions based on our own values."

At last, they finished the lecture asking the listeners to do consistent effort in what they want to do.
