Jeju-NU decided to use the name, College of Social Science starting in 2012.

In the College of Law and Political Science, Department of Law, Department of Public Administration, Department of Political Science and Diplomacy and Department of Journalism and Public relations are included.

The reason for the change is abolition of the Department of Law in 2012.

Jeju-NU also decided to consolidate the Department of Arts and Department of Industrial Design into one and establish a new department called 'College of Arts and Design'.

Jeju-NU plans to finish this work before the First semester in 2012.
