Do your best !!

Every Jeju-NU student is Jeju-NU's future. I hope you always have pride to be a Jeju-NU student. I also have pride as a member of our school. And I will try my best to make a Jeju-NU that all of us can love. I'd like to say to 2012 new students that nobody has a right to command you how to spend your university life. From now on, you should plan your life for yourself. If you choose something, do your best to get it. The effort will never betray your expectation. Thank you.

I want to improve my Korean ability!

In the upcoming year, I hope that my Korean ability will improve. On the TOPIC test that I am going to take this January, it would be really good to find that my Korean ability has improved a lot. Next semester, I am going to take major classes with Korean students. I hope that it will not be that difficult to deal with, but I know that the real situation is different. So for foreign students, I expect Jeju-NU to make special classes just for foreign students so professors can lead classes focusing on them.

I will do what I want

When all of my friends choose their majors in colleges that can get jobs easily,

I choose the Department of Computer Engineering because I have liked computers since I was young. The fact that I am going to learn computers makes my heart flutter. In my high school years, I was in the volunteer activity work club, ‘Affinity’. I would like to join another voluntary service club and lead a meaningful university life teaching how to use computers to children and senior citizens.

My 2012...

Looking back on the last year, the greatest event was that I got married with my lovely Korean wife at Oedolgoe on a wonderful sunny day, which I will never forget. We went to the Philippines for our honeymoon and spent a lovely time there. My main plans next year are that first, we are moving to a new apartment in January and most of all, we are planning to travel to some unique places around Asia on next summer vacation and I'm really looking forward to that. Besides that, I will still teach English in Jeju-NU next year and probably try to find some other new businesses as well.

I hope to be a better person this year

I felt privileged to have four years as a university student. I had more opportunities than I expected. I volunteered in many places, did many kinds of part time jobs, traveled alone, read many books, studied a lot and through doing them I met precious people. Keeping these moments and friends in mind, I will try my best to be a growing person this year
