Museums and theaters in Jeju are planning cultural and art programs for this semester.

  “Museum Visit on Saturdays.” is the cultural program held in Jeju National Museum.

  Starting with the concert, “PIANO & TOOTH” (By Pianist Yoon Hyo-Gan) on Mar. 7, the program will continue until June. Every Saturday, the museum offers performances and movies alternately. The 1st, 3rd and 5th weeks are for movies and the 2nd and 4th weeks are for performances such as play, opera, concert and so on.

  Gandurak, the small theater in Ara-Dong, provides something to touch your heart. In March, the class “Making healing dolls” has already gotten a positive reputation among participants and other workshops and performances are planned to meet their satisfaction. In April, there will be a film screening of the movie 'Greenday'. This time, Gandurak also planned a time to talk with the director of the movie and take an master class, which teaches briefly about animation, for youth.

  Ara Muse Hall also has planned useful programs. The program called 'Culture Square' offers chances to experience not only cultural performances but also lectures. In addition to this, other shows will be on stage in Ara Muse Hall this semester. Around the middle of March, the play 'ART', is planning to be shown.

  Ko Young-Gun (Economics,1) said "In case of those living in a region far from the capital city, it is hard to experience various things. But I realized that there are some programs to enjoy in Jeju at low prices or for free if we have interests about this issue." and continued "I hope that people in Jeju make an effort to attract cultural programs so that lots of Jeju-NU students are satisfied to experience various contents.
