The Alpha and the Omega, as the first and last characters of the Greek alphabet, indicate the presence of all.  In other words, they mean the beginning and the end. These two characters are featured in verses from the Bible, but I see these words with regard to the environment. The beginning starts in the providence of nature creating the universe, the solar system, the Earth.  From below all things human and natural unite us, and we are moving toward sustainable economic development while preserving the environment.

These days the business environment at the core of Jeju has zoomed out, including the world's seven natural landscapes, WCC World Conservation Congress, naval base problems, the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands, energy utilization system, resulting in the environmental problem being raised. Consequently, various environmental activities and policies are being implemented.

So, from the beginning to the end of the Jeju Island environment, where did it all start? I think the first step in cultivating a Jeju environment mind is necessarily looking at the all-natural things of life. If you love to look, never-ending attention and care will be geared towards the environment. More specifically, as an intermediate step, enter Jeju Island’s ecosystem at ‘Gotjawal’. This is where the natural water purification device that acts as a filter to the ‘Gotjawal’ is located. The Amazon is the lungs of the Earth, as are the lungs of Jeju Island ‘Gotjawal’. Environmental organizations and NGOs, as well as all the people of Jeju, have undertaken an active protection movement. It is difficult for our future generations to live with the fact that these natural resources are going to disappear.

To give a little more time to breathe free, we will have to wait. With the mind blank, it should be left to nature. You can feel more and more in recent years Jeju's natural heritage importance such as stonewalls, divers, and citrus. We can't see the end of Jeju environment but we can smile at each other in Jeju’s heaven on Earth, which is a combination of nature and life. A green Jeju looks forward to the future.
