In the second semester, there had been and will be a lot of events such as Ara Sports Day, and department events in Jeju-NU.

There was a Sports Day in May. However, that wasn't for all the students of Jeju-NU. Each college had different Sports Days, and each department had competition in their college. However now, on Sep. 25 and 26, Ara Sports Day is for the whole Jeju-NU population. Teams will be formed following each college. Moreover, alumni will also participate in that day.

Also, there are department events that are led by students. Lots of departments will host events. The Department of English Language and Literature will have ‘Helicon’ ceremony which performs plays. The Department of English Education has already shown its performing event ‘Parnassus’. The Department of Japanese Language and Literature will hold J-Pop contest.

The Department of Clothing and Textiles had a graduation work exhibition as a fashion show which held on Aug. 31.

Kim Ha-Yoen (Department of English Language and Literature, 1) said, “I had a great time while preparing the performance with my friends. I want the performance to be a stage for showing talents of each student.”
