Jeju-NU ranked 39th in ‘2013 Evaluation of University held by Jungang Newspaper.’

This rate shows an improvement in ranking from 40 in 2012, 42 in 2011 and 46 in 2010 respectively.

According to the evaluation results, Jeju-NU follows Korea Maritime and Ocean University at 37 and Hongik  University at 38

Among the nine national universities, Jeju-NU ranked 7, followed by Geyongsang National University and Kangwon National University.

This rank is determined by four evaluation standards: professor contribution (100 points), educational environment (90 point), school reputation and graduators' alumni accomplishments (60 points) and globalization (50 points).
